Terms of Service

By creating an account or using LocalReviewDesk(“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

LocalReviewDesk lets local businesses publish a review page that presents both a Google review link and a private feedback channel, and collects analytics on those interactions.

You must provide accurate registration information. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Filter customers to Google based on predicted rating (review gating).
• Suppress, hide, or remove negative feedback or reviews.
• Offer rewards or incentives in exchange for reviews.
• Submit or solicit fake reviews, including AI-generated reviews you did not author.
• Pressure customers to review on-premises or to mention specific keywords or staff.
• Violate Google’s review policies or any applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, RLS, or other security controls.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

You retain ownership of the customer data your business collects through the service. LocalReviewDesk acts as a processor and uses your data solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data.

The service, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by LocalReviewDesk. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for the duration of your subscription.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalReviewDesk is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may cancel any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms or non-payment. Upon termination your account and associated data are deleted within 30 days subject to legal retention obligations.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where local consumer law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.
